    • Regulatory Policy and Process Module - February 2020 Edition

      The Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority ("DFSA") in the exercise of his powers under the Regulatory Law 2004, hereby issues the “February 2020” Edition of the Regulatory Policy and Process ("RPP") module of the DFSA Sourcebook replacing the “February 2017 Edition”.

      (1) Appendix 1 to this instrument specifies the amendments made to the February 2017 edition of the RPP module.
      (2) Appendix 2 to this instrument sets out the updated consolidated version of the RPP Sourcebook incorporating the additional and amended information specified in Appendix 1. This consolidated version may be cited as the "February 2020 Edition" and comes into effect on 16 February 2020.

      The Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority ("DFSA") in the exercise of his powers under the Regulatory Law 2004, hereby issues the "February 2017" Edition of the Regulatory Policy and Process ("RPP") module of the DFSA Sourcebook replacing the "February 2016 Edition".

      (1) Appendix 1Appendix 1 to this instrument specifies the amendments made to the February 2016 edition of the RPP module.
      (2) Appendix 2Appendix 2 to this instrument sets out the updated consolidated version of the RPP Sourcebook incorporating the additional and amended information specified in Appendix 1Appendix 1. This consolidated version may be cited as the "February 2017 Edition" and comes into effect on 1 February 2017.

      Appendix 1Appendix 1 to this instrument sets out the updated version of the RPP Sourcebook. This version may be cited as the "July 2015 Edition" and comes into effect on 14 July 2015

      Please note Chapter 10 has been added to the July 2015 Edition and no further changes have been made to the module.

      Please note Chapters 5 and 7 have been replaced in the November 2014 Edition and no further changes have been made to the module.

      Following the policy changes outlined in Consultation Papers No. 79, 80, 81, 84 and 85, the Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority ("DFSA") in the exercise of his powers under the Regulatory Law 2004, hereby issues the "December 2012" Edition of the Regulatory Policy and Process ("RPP") module of the DFSA Sourcebook replacing the "July Edition" which is consequently no longer in effect.

      (1) Appendix 1Appendix 1 to this instrument specifies the amendments made to chapters 1 – 3 of the July edition of the RPP module
      (2) Appendix 2Appendix 2 to this instrument specifies the additional information (chapters 4 – 6 and Appendix 1) for inclusion in the RPP module.
      (3) Appendix 3Appendix 3 to this instrument sets out the updated consolidated version of the RPP Sourcebook incorporating the additional and amended information specified in Appendices 1 and 2. This consolidated version may be cited as the "December 2012 Edition" and comes into effect on 23 December 2012.

    • Regulatory Policy and Process Module – July 2012 Edition

      The Chief Executive of the Dubai Financial Services Authority ("DFSA") in the exercise of his powers under the Regulatory Law 2004, hereby re-issues the Regulatory Policy and Process ("RPP") module of the DFSA Sourcebook under Article 116(2) of that Law. Accordingly, Guidance Instrument No 8 is hereby repealed. Furthermore, the Chief Executive also issues further information under that Article for inclusion in the module.

      (1) Appendix 1Appendix 1 to this instrument specifies the additional information for inclusion in the RPP module.
      (2) Appendix 2Appendix 2 to this instrument sets out the updated consolidated version of the RPP Sourcebook incorporating the additional Appendix 1 information. This consolidated version may be cited as the "July 2012 Edition" and comes into effect on 5 July 2012.
