CET1 Deductions Relating to Significant Investment in a Relevant Entity
PIB 3.13.13
For the purposes of PIB Rule 3.13.7(g) and (h), an investment by an
Authorised Firm in a Relevant Entity must be considered as a significant investment if it meets any of the following conditions:(a) theAuthorised Firm owns more than 10% of the CET1 Capital instruments issued by that entity;(b) theAuthorised Firm hasClose Links with that entity and owns CET1 Capital instruments issued by that entity; and(c) theAuthorised Firm owns CET1 Capital instruments issued by that entity and the entity is not included in consolidation pursuant to PIB chapter 8 but is included in the same accounting consolidation as theAuthorised Firm for the purposes of financial reporting under theInternational Financial Reporting Standards .Derived from RM111/2012 (Made 15th October 2012).
