  • RPP 2-8 RPP 2-8 Application to be a Representative Office

    • RPP 2-8-1

      An applicant seeking to become a Representative Office will need to comply with requirements including those set out in the REP module and take note of any applicable matters set out in section 2.2 of the RPP.

    • RPP 2-8-2

      In assessing an application for a Representative Office, the DFSA is likely to assess matters including whether:

      (a) the proposed activities to be undertaken by the applicant are consistent with the Financial Service activity of Operating a Representative Office as described in section 2.26 of the GEN module; and
      (b) the applicant is incorporated and regulated by a Financial Services Regulator in a jurisdiction other than the DIFC.
